I have over 25 years of hands on experience working on houses in the San Francisco Bay Area for architects, designers, contractors and homeowners. Luthier

My work as a luthier has an emphasis on parlor guitars and banjos, each hand built, one at a time and custom, always unique and using the finest walnut and mahogany for necks and bodies. Spruce or cedar on top and finished with ebony to complete the finest handmade guitar you can buy with a warm dark sound achieved only through hours of hand crafting. Schooled in New York by master instrument builder Ben Hume, I have over 20 years experience making stringed instruments.

I am also a songwriter, composer, explorer, naturalist, poet and musician, collage/assemblage artist, in the ageold tradition of folk art, which is self taught and multidisciplinary, while not being necessarily lesser informed. all my work centers on longing and the beauty of mystery. my musical work includes 7 albums and multiple world tours.
